A significant part of achieving this is bringing them along to the dentist for routine check-ups from a young age. Here at Kt2 Dental, our team love inspiring and motivating children through positive reinforcement, so they can feel confident and willing to become independent with their oral and dental health routine as they grow older and graduate into adulthood.
We recommend bringing your child along for their first appointment around 2 to 3 years of age. Familiarising them with the dental practice environment will help them draw positive connotations with what it means to visit the dentist.
As their teeth grow, we will look for any abnormalities with their bite, so that structural issues can be addressed at an early age, and not be allowed to compromise their brushing routine as they grow older. Treating orthodontic problems early can also help your child develop confidence when it comes to smiling, speaking and forming new relationships with others are they grow older.
Signs of decay can be spotted before they become a serious problem. Decay remains the primary reason why 5-9-year-olds in England are admitted to hospital.
Thank you for visiting our website. We would love to welcome you to the clinic, however we are unlikely to open before Spring 2023.
Unfortunately, the flats above us suffered a serious fire in February 2022 that led to severe water damage to the clinic as a result of the efforts of the Fire Brigade putting out the fire.
Our plan is to re-open the clinic and we would love to give a definitive date of opening however we cannot as the reinstatement of the clinic and equipment is in the hands of the insurance companies involved.
In the meantime, if you require any specific treatment or need to see our lead Clinician Adeel Nazir, please email info@kt2dental.co.uk for further details on alternative clinic locations.
Please check this website for further updates on opening.
We look forward to welcoming you in Spring 2023.
Best Wishes
